It's not unreasonable to think you might have a crazy reaction to learning you just won $1 million. That appears to be the case in Fenton, Michigan, where a 59-year-old man stopped at a Speedway for gas and bought a Winning Millions ticket while at the station. He says that as he pumped his gas he scratched the ticket to reveal he had won $1 million. "I started yelling: ‘Are you kidding me?!’" he said, per Michigan Live.

And then he promptly drove off with the gas hose still connected to his car, reports the Lottery Post. It quotes the unidentified Genesee County man as saying, "I was so excited, I forgot I was filling up with gas." He opted for a lump-sum payment of $634,517 and plans to buy a home and car with the winnings. There's no word on whether his elated exit from the gas station caused any damage. The Detroit News reports the man's win happened on March 6 but is only being reported now after the man gave an interview to the state's Lotto system. (More strange stuff stories.)
