A maid who had recently been fired from the Portuguese resort where Madeleine McCann and her family were staying when the girl disappeared is the latest person to come under investigators' scrutiny. Police learned the maid's identity from an email tip sent from somewhere on the Iberian peninsula to Prince Charles' official website, the London Times reports.

Portuguese cops have completed their investigation of the resort's staff on May 3, when Maddy disappeared, but haven't tracked down every ex-employee. The tip came as the Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas reported that investigators believe the girl perished in a fall and her body was hidden by her parents, who then fabricated her disappearance.
