The Ferris wheel nookie story takes a weird turn in this list of the week's craziest crimes.

  • Man Busted for Ferris Wheel Sex Was in Vegas to Marry: File this under really crazy twists: Last week's news about a couple getting arrested for having sex in public while riding a glass-enclosed cabin on a Ferris wheel over the Las Vegas Strip just got much odder, courtesy of the gentleman who was in flagrante delicto. Philip Frank Panzica III explained he was in Vegas to get married that very day—but not to Chloe Scordianos, the woman he was arrested with on Feb. 5.
  • Jodi Arias Punished for Insulting Prison Guard: Jodi Arias is less than a year into a sentence of life without parole for the 2008 murder of boyfriend Travis Alexander, and she apparently isn't adjusting that well to life in maximum security: She has lost contact visitation rights for at least 180 days after making this insulting remark about a corrections officer after a request she made was denied.

  • This May Be the World's Worst Co-Worker: There are co-workers who may annoy you and then there's Sonserea Dawn Evans. Georgia police allege the 43-year-old did something to her Waffle House co-worker's drink on Dec. 23 that has him still under medical care. Here's what they say Evans did and how she was busted.
  • Neighbor Calls 911 Over Television Show: A Montana family unexpectedly found itself at the center of a real-life drama after police say a neighbor heard "screaming from a house about someone having a gun" and called 911. Officers surrounded the Great Falls home with weapons drawn and saw "flashing lights" and heard "loud talking" coming from two open windows. Then they realized what the inhabitants were watching on TV.
  • Inmate Avoids Execution by Paying to Get Pregnant: A Vietnamese woman who was arrested in 2012 for drug trafficking and sentenced to death in 2014 has managed to escape that fate in a most unusual way, and now four prison guards have been suspended for alleged negligence. Local media report Nguyen Thi Hue, 42, managed to become pregnant while in prison with the help of a male inmate and some plastic bags, which has had a big effect on her sentence.
