(Newser) – After writing a best-seller about her 18 years in captivity, Jaycee Lee Dugard is working on a book about the joys and challenges that followed. Simon & Schuster announced Tuesday that it has acquired Dugard's Freedom: My Book of Firsts, scheduled for release July 12. The book will focus on her "first experiences" after the ordeal ended. Dugard said in a statement that "Life doesn't have to end if you don't want it to. It's all in how you look at it."
