That crazy Florida senate race just got crazier, with high-ranking Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer calling on Rep. Alan Grayson to drop out. Schumer tells Politico that Grayson—one of the Democrats currently in a primary fight to run against Marco Rubio in November—has "shown himself not to be worthy of being a US senator." Grayson's ex-wife recently accused him of abusing her multiple times over 20 years, the Miami Herald reports. Video of Grayson responding angrily to questions about the allegations spread online Tuesday. “He ought to do the right thing and drop out," Schumer tells Politico. While Grayson is still in the race, his staffers may see the writing is on the wall: four quit his campaign on Wednesday. (More Alan Grayson stories.)
