Tryst Backfires for Chicago Man
A man picked a prostitute before being shot by a robber   (Fogstock LLC)

Call this a lesson of love. A Chicago man was shot multiple times earlier this morning by a carjacker who tried to rob him during a midnight romp with a prostitute, the Chicago Tribune reports. The 29-year-old John had picked up a hooker and was with her in his car's front seat when the gunman announced the mugging.

The victim drove off but not before catching a few bullets in the gut. The prostitute, who was unharmed, called police after the wounded man lost control of the car and crashed it down the street. While the mugger remains at large, it was unclear whether the man or woman would face prostitution-related charges. (More prostitute stories.)
