(Newser) – President Trump took to Twitter late Wednesday morning to address all the big news of the day: a New York Times report that claimed he asked about shooting migrants in the legs at the border, the markets, the impeachment inquiry, and a press conference attended by Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff that provided an update on it. The upshot: The president is not pleased. Politico notes he was live-tweeting as Pelosi and Schiff spoke. He then subsequently spoke with reporters from the Oval Office alongside Finnish President Sauli Niinistö. His tweets and statements:

  • On the NYT report: "Now the press is trying to sell the fact that I wanted a Moat stuffed with alligators and snakes, with an electrified fence and sharp spikes on top, at our Southern Border. I may be tough on Border Security, but not that tough. The press has gone Crazy. Fake News!" (tweet here)
