Everybody on board a Ukrainian airliner was killed in a crash shortly after takeoff from Tehran's Imam Khomeini Airport early Wednesday, according to Iranian state media. The Ukrainian International Airlines Boeing 737-800 had either 170 or 180 people on board, state media reported. It's not clear whether there was any connection between the crash and Iran's missile attacks on two bases housing US forces in Iraq hours earlier, the BBC reports. According to Iranian media, officials suspect mechanical issues are to blame. A Boeing spokesman tells the AP that the company is trying to get more information. (More Iran stories.)
