Inflation isn't rising as fast as it was a year ago nationwide, but it remains near a historically high rate of 5%. The top 10, including the city's total score out of 100 and the percent change in CPI from a year ago (which is just one of the factors in the total score):

  1. Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach, Florida, 83.33, up 9%
  2. Detroit-Warren-Dearborn, Michigan, 79.66, 6.6%
  3. Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, Arizona, 72.16, 7.4%
  4. Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Florida, 65.17, 7.7%
