Just days after slamming the Material Mom's loose morals, the father of Mercy James is upping his rhetoric on the eve of Madonna's appeal to adopt the 4-year-old Malawian girl, reports the BBC. James Kambewa argues his daughter should remain in Malawi, despite the fact that he has never met her. "I want to take care of her, and I'm capable to take care of my baby," he said. "Mercy, she is a Malawian—so [I] need her to grow as a Malawian as well with our culture." (More Madonna stories.)
