Amanda Knox: I Want to Adopt

She hasn't exactly cultivated a maternal image, nor a resume most adoption agencies would drool over, but Amanda Knox tells an Italian lawmaker that she wants to adopt kids—you know, when she gets out of that whole prison thing. The lawmaker, Rocco Girlanda, is publishing a book, Take Me With You—Talks With Amanda Knox in Prison, based on interviews that also reveal she'd like to be a writer. The tome also features Knox's poetry, letters, and personal views, but doesn't touch on Meredith Kercher's murder.

Girlanda met Foxy Knoxy about the time she was convicted last year, and the two struck up a jailhouse friendship, reports the AP. "Everything grew from a desire to get to know an American girl, the same age as one of my daughters, who has found herself to be living in the most dramatic experience of her life," Girlanda writes.
