Police are investigating reports that children undressed and engaged in oral sex in a second grade classroom in Oakland, Calif., ABC News reports. The school district calls the allegations "unthinkable," but is investigating "aggressively," and admits that evidence "suggests that the reports have merit." A girl who reported the incident said she thought there was no teacher in the class at the time, but school officials think a teacher might have been present. The teacher has been put on leave, pending the results of the investigation.

Parents were stunned. "If I had known this morning, I would not have brought him to school," said one parent. "I don't understand it, but it's on the parents," said another man who has a nephew in the class being investigated. "They learn that at home, they don't teach that at school."
