Ever wanted to control a video game with your mind? It sounds like science fiction, but it’s real and it’s in the Apple App Store. Iceland company MindGames has released a pair of games controlled by your thoughts, using a headset that reads your brain waves like an EEG, the LA Times reports.

In W.I.L.D., released last month, players fly over dreamlike landscapes, concentrating and relaxing their minds to put out fires, bend spoons, and so forth. In “Tug of Mind,” released in December, players try to stay calm while being screamed at by an “opponent,” created from an actual headshot of someone they know. Both apps cost $4.99, though of course, you’ll need to buy a mind-reading helmet for around $100 first. Click for another story about mind-controlled technology.
