Sniper Suspect May Have Photos of Victims on Phone
Eddie Ray Routh, who was charged with killing former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield at a shooting range southwest of Fort Worth, is seen in this booking photo.   (AP Photo/Erath County Sheriff's Office, File)

Eddie Ray Routh's cellphone may contain pictures of the alleged killer posing alongside American Sniper author Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield before their deaths at a Texas shooting range, the AP reports. Police have obtained a search warrant for the phone's pictures, text messages, and recent call activity. The photo revelation isn't entirely surprising, given that Routh knew his alleged victims; they were trying to help him with his PTSD. The phone was seized from Routh's home, along with a box of 9mm ammo, drug paraphernalia, and a blue-jean jacket. (More Eddie Ray Routh stories.)
