Guy Was Outrunning Cops—Til a Motorist Had an Idea
Duane Crawford   (Norwich police)

Weirdest police chase ever: Cops in Norwich, Conn., were chasing a road-rage suspect on foot when a passing motorist happened by and got a little creative, reports the Bulletin. The driver swooped in, picked up officer Matthew Seidel, and then dropped him off in front of the fleeing suspect. Voila: Duane Crawford, 27, was promptly arrested and now faces a slew of charges, including possession of cocaine. “The Norwich Police would like to thank the anonymous citizen who assisted in the (arrest)," says a police statement.
