Does anyone else hear tubas? E! News reports Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm is coming back to HBO for a ninth season after a lengthy hiatus. The eighth season of the show aired way back in 2011, and David had shown trepidation about bringing it back. “After a while you’re competing against yourself," Vanity Fair quotes David as saying in 2014. "I’m intimidated by some of the great shows that I did in past seasons." But that's apparently changed, as HBO announced the new season Tuesday. "In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, 'I left, I did nothing, I returned,'" David says in a statement. Or maybe David just realized he wouldn't have the opportunity to play Bernie Sanders for much longer. (More Larry David stories.)
