If OJ Simpson ever gets out of prison, he could again find himself tooling slowly down a highway in a white Ford Bronco—a brand new one, reports CNN. Ford announced Monday that it's bringing back the Ranger and Bronco (last made in 1996). "Bronco will be a no-compromise midsize 4x4 utility for thrill seekers who want to venture way beyond the city," says Ford's president of the Americas. That little blast from the past was preceded by Fiat Chrysler, which on Sunday announced the return of the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer (last made in 1991). Automakers prefer trucks and SUVs because they're easier to make and can be sold for more money. USA Today speculates that automakers may be trying to take advantage of Donald Trump's presidency, which is expected to see an increase in oil production and a rolling back of fuel-economy regulations, but as Fiat's CEO says: "I need clarity" on what his policies will be first.
