Hundreds of naked people bared all on a Swiss glacier to protest global warming yesterday. The arresting demonstration was photographed by New York artist Spencer Tunick, known for his photos of nude gatherings, as temperatures hovered around 50 degrees.

“The melting of the glaciers is an indisputable sign of global climate change,” said a spokesman for Greenpeace, one of the organizers of the event. All Swiss glaciers will disappear by 2080 if global warming continues at its current pace, he said. (More Greenpeace stories.)
