Post Pulls Reporters' Video After 'Mad Bitch' Hillary Joke

Washington Post political writers Dana Milbank and Chris Cillizza are taking a drubbing over a video spoof in which they suggest brands of beer for the top names in politics—including "Mad Bitch" for Hillary Clinton. When bloggers drew attention to that line, in particular, the Post pulled the video from its website because it "went too far," notes Michael Calderone of Politico.

Sample criticism, from Megan Garber in Columbia Journalism Review: The video "manages to be both glibly insulting and extraordinarily un-funny." The duo's "status as (ostensibly) reporters means that they owe us more than lame-puns-for-the-sake-of-lame-puns, as per the typical humor of late-night TV." Milbank and Cillizza take aim at politicians in both parties (Hell Bier for Republican leaders) and suggest "Jackass Oatmeal Stout" for themselves.
