Fox Producer Caught Stoking Protest Crowd

Worker rallies 9/12 protesters as cameras roll behind reporter

The claim by Fox News that it covered the 9/12 protest in Washington like no other media turned out to be true. A behind-the-scenes video clearly shows a Fox News producer raising her arms as the camera rolled to increase cheers and chants from the supposedly-spontaneous crowd, reports the Huffington Post. Producer Heidi Noonan whips up the crowd behind reporter Griff Jenkins, then, apparently noticing she's being filmed, ducks down.

One protester carried a sign that read "I'm a Foxaholic," while others waved banners mocking President Obama. Fox News heavily promoted the event, which aims to return Americans to the collective outrage the day after 9/11. A Fox News bureau chief said Noonan was new, realized she had made a mistake, and has been disciplined.
