After Rick Sanchez testily asked an expert to translate nine meters into “English,” it was only a matter of time before Jon Stewart weighed in. “CNN: The most trusted name in over-caffeinated control freaks,” Stewart said last night after showing clips of Sanchez aggressively directing the camera guy, the map guy, and his expert guests—oh, and incorrectly placing Hawaii just west of…South America.

“Rick Sanchez delivers the news like a guy at a party who’s doing a lot of coke and traps you in a corner and explains, really intensely, how an ant is the strongest animal on earth,” Stewart concludes, before going into an impression. “I’m telling you, man, they’re tiny, but they can carry a stick like 18 times their own size! It’s like you picking up a car! Can you pick up a car? Answer? No! You can’t! Now, I’m gonna go in the bathroom for a second, but we’re not done talking about how crazy strong ants are! All right, buddy?”
