Sarah Palin's clout may be in question but the amount of attention she's getting from the media isn't fading. The Alaskan caused a stir yesterday when she marked as "favorite" a tweet from Ann Coulter that read "MY NEW CHURCH!" and linked to a picture of a church sign denouncing the "Taliban Muslim illegally elected President USA: Hussein," Gawker reports.

Asked for comment, Palin told ABC News that it was a complete accident. "I've never purposefully ‘favorited’ any tweet. I had to go back to my BlackBerry to even see if such a function was possible," she wrote, suggesting that the "obviously bored reporter" who picked up on it should focus on developments in the House instead. She also added that "no one can mistake that Ann Coulter was obviously being tongue in cheek with that Tweet." By last evening, all of Palin's favorites had been cleared from her Twitter account, notes the Washington Post.
