Suffice it to say this German dad was not happy that his daughter was dating a much-older man: Helmut Seifert, 47, castrated said boyfriend with a bread knife. Seifert's 17-year-old daughter was in a relationship with 57-year-old Phillip Genscher, and though Seifert went to police and complained, they couldn't do anything about it. So Seifert and two friends paid Genscher a visit, forced him to pull down his pants, and castrated him, say police.

"The severed testicles were taken away by the perpetrator," police said. Genscher survived but is, as the Telegraph notes, "a eunuch for life." Seifert, who pleaded guilty and will go on trial for attempted murder, told police, "You said you couldn't stop him—so I did. I saw it as my duty as a father."
