Celebrity gossip all the way from Pyongyang: A woman spotted with supreme leader Kim Jong Un recently isn't his sister, as earlier reports suggested. Instead, she has been identified as a pop star his late father once refused to let him see, the Daily Mail reports. Hyon Song Wol, who has appeared at a number of official events with the North Korean leader, was reportedly once married to a North Korean soldier; it's not clear whether she still is.

Kim and Hyon "have known each other since they were in their teens," a South Korean official says, adding that rumors they're "having an affair have been circulating among Pyongyang's top elite." Seoul intelligence says they first got together after Kim returned from a Swiss private school a decade ago, but his father nixed the relationship. Hyon's music with the group Bochonbo Electronic Music Band, including the hits "Excellent Horse-Like Lady," "I Love Pyongyang," and "We Are Troops of the Party," reached the height of its popularity in 2005.
