Sides told police he was at the theater to see "The Expendables 2."   (Melbourne Police Department)

In the wake of the Dark Knight Rises shooting, turning up at a movie theater looking like the Joker is a good way to attract the attention of the police, a Florida man discovered. A concerned moviegoer called the cops when he saw a man with black, white, and red makeup and pink hair pacing outside a Brevard County theater, the Orlando Sentinel reports. Christopher Sides, 21, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a previous misdemeanor offense. Police say he had no weapon, made no threats, and did not cause a disturbance.
