A 31-year-old Army wife was chatting with her deployed husband via FaceTime when she was brutally attacked and stabbed repeatedly in her Texas home, reports ABC News. A 19-year-old Fort Bliss soldier has been charged. Perhaps most miraculously, Rachel Poole, who was nine months pregnant, delivered a healthy baby girl via Caesarian section after the attack; baby Isabella "is in good health," says Poole's mother. She wouldn't comment on Poole's own condition.

Police have charged Corey Bernard Moss in the attack; they say he allegedly owed Poole money. Poole apparently screamed Moss' name as she was attacked, and her husband, Justin Poole, called Moss' co-workers for help. Moss was detained shortly thereafter and a knife was found in his car; he's being held on $150,000 bond. Justin Poole has since returned to El Paso, and he's posted pictures of himself and his daughter on Facebook. Rachel Poole has a badly damaged eye socket and vertebra, and suffered a collapsed lung in the attack. "Rachel Poole is fighting to beat this," her husband wrote. (More El Paso stories.)
