People is apparently determined to remain unswayed by America's legions of Ryan Gosling fans: For the second year running after Gosling-philes actually protested the fact that their crush was not named Sexiest Man Alive, he was once again not named Sexiest Man Alive. Instead, People bestowed the honor on Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5 and one of the star judges of The Voice. As is typical of Sexiest Men, Levine insists he was totally shocked by his selection.

"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," he says. "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool." Other things he reveals in his cover interview: He cries at movies, does yoga and spinning, and loves to be naked. But sorry ladies, he's engaged to a Victoria's Secret model.
