Ironman goalie Martin Brodeur was good, but the Ottawa front line was even better in a 3-2 Game 4 victory that has New Jersey on the verge of crashing out of the playoffs. Winger Dany Heatley played the hero before an electrified home crowd; he assisted on Daniel Alfredsson's goal, then put one between Brodeur's pads himself.

Python-owning Sens goalie Ray Emery was bidding for his third home shutout in a row, but Devils winger Brian Gionta scored against him in the second period. With a win, Ottawa will reach the Eastern Conference finals for the second time; in their first, in 2003, New Jersey beat them in seven games. (More NHL stories.)
