Joyce S. Silva of Manteca, Calif., doesn't drive, nor does she own a white Acura. So it's understandable why the 87-year-old woman with arthritis was scratching her head after receiving a total of 18 traffic tickets costing $1,475 for a white Acura, CBS Sacramento reports. For the past year, Silva has been battling city officials and transit authorities about the tickets, which were finally canceled only after CBS touched base with said officials and authorities. Turns out a local auto dealership registered the white Acura to her by mistake instead of Joyce F. Silva in nearby Pleasanton. The real Joyce Silva is just relieved it's over, telling CBS it's "a big weight off my shoulders." (Houston recently experienced a speeding-ticket scandal.)
