A former employee of a Fox station in Austin, Texas, committed suicide around 9am this morning outside of Manhattan's News Corp building—home to Fox News, the New York Post, and the Wall Street Journal. He has been identified as 41-year-old Phillip Perea of Irving. The Journal reports by way of a police official that before shooting himself a single time in the chest, Perea was handing out fliers knocking Fox for for ending his career; he was declared dead roughly an hour later at Bellevue Hospital Center.

A suicide note was found at the scene, and an online catalog of his gripes is emerging: On Thursday he tweeted, "Congratulations FOX, this is all the money I have left to my name, $104 #theamericanworkplacebully"; this morning, he tweeted a link to 35 YouTube videos that ostensibly document his gripes.
