A NYC subway rider captured an act of pure human kindness on Friday night, and it's resonating: The Facebook video of the exchange between what the New York Daily News describes as a "do-gooder straphanger known only as 'Jay'" and a shirtless man has been viewed nearly 13 million times as of this writing.

Lazaro Nolasco, who shot the 1:25 video on the Brooklyn-bound A train, says the shirtless man looked ill, and as he saw fellow passenger Jay take off his tee, he began filming. The video shows Jay carefully help the man pull the shirt on; he then put his knit hat on the man's head. Nolasco got off the train before the two men did, so the story ends on that train, for now at least. The Huffington Post reports it got as chilly as 45 degrees on Friday.
