Phillip) Barbara Bush was hospitalized Wednesday morning, soon after husband George HW Bush's own hospitalization. Per ABC 13, Barbara Bush experienced fatigue and coughing and was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital as a precaution. A Bush spokesperson also tells the station the former president, who was initially described as "fine" and likely to go home in a few days, has been admitted to the ICU at the same hospital after experiencing an acute respiratory problem linked to pneumonia. After a procedure to clear and protect his airway, he is stable, comfortable, and under observation in the ICU. He was first admitted to the hospital Saturday due to shortness of breath.
