Boyle County Sheriff's Deputy Phillip Dean was responding to a call about rocks being thrown at vehicles Sunday when a rock was thrown at the Kentucky officer's own vehicle. It shattered his windshield, hitting him in the face and causing him to lose control; the vehicle then left the road, collided with trees, and rolled over multiple times, CNN reports. Dean suffered broken bones and lacerations but is recovering, and police are looking for the suspect, who was reportedly throwing rocks from a dark-colored car as it drove by other cars. The rock that hit Dean's car came from a car traveling in the opposite direction. (Man killed after concrete thrown from bridge.)
