(Newser) – It's getting harder for Angela Merkel to brush off concerns over her health. The German chancellor was publicly observed shaking Wednesday for the third time in a month, though a spokesperson says the leader is "fine," per Sky News. Merkel's body shook at a ceremony in Berlin to welcome Finnish Prime Minister Antti Rinne, who at one point gave her a side glance. Cameras also appeared to capture several people curiously observing Merkel.

First observed shaking on June 18, the 64-year-old chancellor told reporters that she felt better after drinking several glasses of water. Another bout of shakes was observed on June 27. Per CNN, tremors could be caused by any number of issues from too much caffeine to a neurological disorder. The spokesperson simply said Wednesday that Merkel "is fine and discussions with the Finnish Prime Minister are going ahead as planned." (Read more Angela Merkel stories.)
