And you thought your kids were ungrateful. CBS News spotted a mind-boggling story out of India, where a 22-year-old allegedly pushed his new BMW into a river because what he had really wanted for his birthday was a Jaguar. Or, at least, that's what a local police rep tells the Times of India: "Akash was demanding ... a Jaguar car from his father, but when his father failed to buy one, he threw away his BMW in a fit of anger."

Akash's father counters that version, saying the car went into the Western Yamuna Canal after his son swerved to avoid hitting an antelope. "We have two cars, a BMW and a Swift. My son never demanded a Jaguar." Either way, there's video footage of the vehicle in the canal. The car has since been removed from the water, and no arrests will be made.
