As Donald Trump Jr. makes the rounds to plug his book, Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us, Axios notes that the book's dedication takes a shot at Hillary Clinton. "I dedicate this book to the DEPLORABLES," he writes, borrowing the word Clinton used in 2016 while describing Trump supporters. "While the elite of the other party look down on you and would rather you stay silent, I salute your work ethic, patriotism, and values," writes Trump Jr. Two other nuggets:

  • Tweets: Trump Jr. says his father—a man known for his vitriolic tweets—has advised him to tone down his own social media comments. "Every once in a while, I get that call like, 'Hey, you're getting a little hot on social,'" he said on Fox News, per Politico. Trump Jr. says he typically follows his father's advice, but not on this. “I was like, this may be the one place where I'm just going to say, ‘I'm on my own, and maybe you don't have the authority to start talking about this.'"
  • Trust: Trump Jr. tells CBS "there are very few people" his father can trust. But he did single out Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, known for his loyalty to the president, as doing a "great job." As for Rudy Giuliani, he's doing a "good job," said Trump Jr. "My father's a fighter, right? And so is Rudy."
