US | Jeffrey Epstein Epstein Prison Video Emerges Nicholas Tartaglione's lawyer is 'very pleased' By Neal Colgrass Posted Dec 21, 2019 11:05 AM CST Copied In this July 30, 2008 file photo, Jeffrey Epstein is shown in custody in West Palm Beach, Fla. (AP Photo/Palm Beach Post, Uma Sanghvi, File)/Palm Beach Post via AP) Looks like there's video footage of Jeffrey Epstein's cell after all. This after federal prosecutors said earlier in the week that footage around his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan had gone missing, CNBC reports. "We are very pleased the video was preserved, as we had asked," the attorney for former Epstein cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione said Friday. "We look forward to viewing it." Tartaglione—a former cop charged in the murders of four people—claims he helped stop Epstein from killing himself on July 23, weeks before Epstein died in another cell in what authorities have ruled suicide by hanging. The footage could help Tartaglione show moral character and help him avoid the death penalty, per the Daily News. Read These Next Don't plan an overnighter to Grand Canyon's South Rim now.
