Only about one-third of the US population has received a COVID booster shot, notes the Washington Post, but one of the recipients has a particularly high profile. Donald Trump said Sunday that he received his third shot, reports Newsweek. The reveal came during a public forum with former Fox anchor Bill O'Reilly. "Did you get the booster?" O'Reilly asked the former president at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. "Yes," Trump replied. (O'Reilly added that he's boosted, too.) At that point, some booing could be heard, and Trump interjected: "Don't, don't, don't. ... That's all right, it's a very tiny group over there."

During the forum, Trump got a better response when he came out against mandates. "If you don't want to take it, you shouldn't be forced to take it, no mandates," he said of the COVID vaccine. Insider notes that the issue is politically dicey for Trump because, generally speaking, many in his base oppose the current COVID vaccines. In Dallas, however, Trump sought to counter that by highlighting his administration's role in pushing for one. "Look, we did something that was historic, we saved tens of millions of lives worldwide when we, together, all of us, we got a vaccine done," Trump said. "You're playing right into their hands" by doubting the vaccine, he added. (More Donald Trump stories.)
