An infected tattoo has been linked to the death of a 35-year-old British man, a medical panel has determined. The man died of a blood clot in his lungs 10 days after receiving the tattoo, a birthday present from his girlfriend, on his right calf, reports the Telegraph. The lethal clot originated from a deep vein thrombosis in the leg. Doctors are uncertain if the clot was triggered directly by the tattoo or by the man's inaction due to severe infection pain.
