Her name didn't match the boarding pass

It's going to be a long, excruciating year for airport security guards if every passenger reacts to safety concerns the way Joan Rivers did recently. Rivers lashed a female guard as a "moronic idiot" and "premenstrual" after she was barred from boarding a Newark-bound flight from Costa Rica last weekend.

But Larry King pointed out that Rivers was carrying a passport with two names—Joan Rivers and Joan Rosenberg—neither of which matched the name (or gender) on her boarding pass, Joseph Rosenberg (not her husband). "You don't make me go through immigration, customs, check-in, and then say, 'Wait a minute, there's a problem.' How dare they?" Rivers fumes. She even demanded to see the pilot, who she was certain would recognize her for the star that she is.
