One little sex scandal seems to have turned Tiger Woods into a man of the people. Tiger thanked his fans profusely today, in his first blog post since October, for the warm reception they gave him at the Masters. “I honestly didn't know what to expect from the fans, but they were absolutely incredible,” he wrote. “To get that type of warmth is something I did not expect and will never forget.”

“I tried and wanted to interact with as many fans as I could,” wrote Woods—who has never been known for interacting with hoi polloi. “One little girl gave me a letter on the third tee, which was awfully sweet.” Aww. Woods also thanked his fellow golfers (“I appreciate their support, but it felt good to try and beat them again”), congratulated Phil Mickelson, and apologized for using “bad language” on the course.
