Aussie Lawyer Smokes Koran, Bible
Looking for trouble?   (Screen grab)

Inspired, perhaps, by the much-hyped antics of Terry Jones, an Australian law professor posted a video of himself burning pages from the Koran—and the Bible. In the video "Bible or Koran—which burns best?," which has since been removed from YouTube, the prof rips, rolls, and smokes pages of both books. At one point he takes a deep drag, exhales, and says "Holy," notes the Telegraph.

"With respect to books like the Bible and the Koran, whatever, just get over it," the professor, Alex Stewart, says in the video. He also insists the stunt is merely "a joke." It seems his employer, Queensland University of Technology, disagrees—he's been put on leave pending an inquiry. (Click here to read more on the aftermath of Terry Jones' Koran stunt.)
