Cars Most Likely To Be Stolen in US
If you drive a shiny red Vette ... you're probably OK. Thieves like less splashy targets.   (AP)

The National Insurance Crime Bureau has the numbers in on which cars across the US were most likely to be stolen in 2009. Maybe you think it's Vettes, BMWs, or Mercedes? Nope, it's the lowly Honda Accord—the 1994 model. And the Accord was followed closely by the Honda Civic and the Toyota Camry. Then the Ford F-150 truck, which happens to be No. 1 in West Virginia for thefts, was No. 4 overall. Only one "luxury" car made the top 10, the Acura Integra (also made by Honda). For the full list, see the NPR story. (More stolen cars stories.)
