New York state security and educational authorities are on high alert after an email sent to officials and the media threatened attacks on school buses. Bus drivers have been warned to be especially watchful for suspicious behavior or packages. The email, which is being taken very seriously by authorities, also threatened attacks on state office buildings and the state legislature, reports the Syracuse Post-Standard.The FBI and the New York Office of Counter Terrorism is investigating. The specific nature of the threatened violence has not been revealed. (More terror attack stories.)
