America is about as stressed as it was last year, a recent poll finds: Some 39.4% of 352,840 respondents called themselves stressed “a lot of the day,” compared to 39.9% last year. The year before was just a little more relaxed, with 38.8% saying they were stressed to that extent. But there is a lot of variation between states, notes the Huffington Post. The Midwest is the least stressed overall, while the Northeast and West are the most. This year’s least-stressed states:

  1. Hawaii: 30.2% stressed “a lot of the day”
  2. Wyoming: 34.4%
  3. North Dakota: 34.6%
  4. South Dakota: 35.5%
  5. Washington, DC: 36.7%
