The Most Brilliant Fictional Twitter Accounts
This digital incarnation of Lord Voldemort, from 'Harry Potter' fires off rude tweets at a consistent rate.   (Twitter)

Fiction mostly trumps real life, at least on Twitter. Mashable recommends 10 fictional Twitter accounts that are worth following. Immediately.

  • Batman: Gotham City meets the real world in witty fashion by way of @God_Damn_Batman. Sample tweet: "Mr. Freeze has started calling himself Lord Cold-emort. Thank God this will be the last Harry Potter movie."

  • Death Star PR: True to its name, this fake tweeter spews pro-Galactic Empire jargon and makes no secret about its support for Darth Vader. Star Wars nerds will also appreciate tweets from Darth Vader or Yoda. Sample: "Love is like a Stormtrooper: it usually misses."
  • Homer Simpson: OK, so HomerJSimpson is actually an official account. Sample: "Does anyone have something for a headache? By headache I mean Bart, and by something I mean an ice dungeon somewhere in Antarctica."
  • The Dark Lord: On Twitter, He Who Should Not Be Named takes on a ballsy persona as Lord_Voldemort7—he’s got something wicked to say about everything, from politics to daily gossip. Sample: "Toddlers & Tiaras is trending... and people wonder why I want to kill everyone."
