Al Pacino's 21-year-old daughter admitted she drank a few beers and smoked some weed before climbing behind the wheel for a spin in Manhattan with an unidentified male companion, according to cops. Julie Pacino was stopped at a police checkpoint over the weekend when cops noticed her California driver's license had expired. Pacino had "watery and bloodshot eyes, slurred speech" and smelled of booze, said prosecutors, according to the New York Daily News.
"Yes, I was drinking," Pacino was quoted by authorities as saying. "I had about three beers and I smoked weed at home. That was a few hours ago." She has been hit with a slew of charges, and her license has been suspended. Pacino, whose mom Jan Tarrant used to be Al Pacino's acting coach, wrote and directed a short film called Abracadabra in 2009. (Read more Al Pacino stories.)
