If you’re not a Fox News fan, you may have missed the "uproar” President Obama’s Thanksgiving address caused—numerous Fox hosts were outraged that the president didn’t mention God. Well, Jon Stewart is outraged over the outrage. “If I recall my grade school pageants correctly, Thanksgiving was a bunch of pagans teaching religious zealots how to farm,” Stewart deadpanned, failing to see what the big deal was. “If instead of pardoning two male turkeys he had married them, OK, then I could understand.”

“I see what you’re doing. This is about turning Thanksgiving into yet another one of those Christian persecution culture war type things,” Stewart said. Then he became emotional. “Don’t you do that to Thanksgiving! I’ll give you the war on Christmas, we are trying to [bleep] that up. But this is all reform Jews have left! Leave Thanksgiving out of this. … Name another holiday where you can get drunk around your kids by 2pm! You can’t!” (More Jon Stewart stories.)
