(Newser) – Another massive tunnel used for drug smuggling that stretches across the US-Mexican border is out of operation. "It is clearly the most sophisticated, major tunnel that we have found in the last five years, perhaps ever," says a US Immigration and Customs agent. The opening of the tunnel in Tijuana was found by Mexican soldiers in a two-story warehouse on the same street as a federal police office and a tortilla distributor. More than 70 tunnels have been unearthed on the US-Mexican border since October of 2008, including this one just a few weeks ago. (Read more drug smuggling stories.)
