In a rare interview, DC sniper Lee Boyd Malvo revealed today that he was sexually abused by the man who planned his 2002 killing spree. "For the entire period when I was almost 15 until I got arrested, I was sexually abused by John Muhammad," Malvo told Matt Lauer on Today. "I felt a sense of shame, and I just said, 'That's just something I can never tell anyone.'"

John Muhammad was executed in 2009. "The main reason I'm coming forward now is because I am more mature," Malvo says. "And now, I can handle this. In here, there's no therapy. ... In solitary confinement, in a cell by yourself, I am priest, doctor, therapist." He also revealed that there were some victims of the shooting spree who haven't been identified, and said he contacted their families on his own. Click for more from Malvo.
